Lounge Sectional, Model 1717
Way back in 1919 our founder, Gerhard Brinkel, set up a factory for upholstered furniture. The premises were small, the workforce likewise (a mere handful of craftsmen). Today, some 80 years on, the company has more than 550 employees, producing several hundred pieces of furniture daily in the 75,000 square metre production facility.
Our success, in the final analysis, is the success of our workforce. Room for initiative at all levels, plus a strong customer focus make for real motivation, and a personal commitment to every single piece of furniture produced.
In fact, the innovative mind-set, motivation and commitment of all Elastoform employees has been and remains a major driving force in the company’s success and long-term stability.
